**HYDERABAD, January 8, 2025** – Hyderabad Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi conducted a thorough inspection of Serilingampally on Tuesday, addressing several sanitation and civic issues. Accompanied by legislator A. Gandhi and several zonal officials, the Mayor toured Miyapur, Chandangar, and Serilingampally wards, visiting locations including Makta Peda Kudi Cheruvu, Patel Cheruvu, and the Lingampally vegetable market.
Mayor Vijayalakshmi expressed strong dissatisfaction with the slow pace of waste removal near Makta Pedda Kudi Cheruvu, directing immediate action from officials and the solid waste concessionaire. She also ordered immediate road repairs on the link road and instructed officials to address the poor road and sewerage conditions in Vishweshara Colony, Chandangar, following complaints from residents. Further directives included repairs to sheds in the Lingampally vegetable market and improved sanitation across the inspected areas. The inspection was part of an ongoing effort to improve civic amenities in the city.
