**New Delhi, India** – Xiaomi has unveiled its latest budget smartphone in India, the Redmi 14C 5G. Boasting a compelling feature set for its price point, the device includes a 50MP main camera, a large 5,160mAh battery, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate display.

The Redmi 14C 5G starts at ₹9,999 and comes in three variants: 4GB+64GB (₹9,999), 4GB+128GB (₹10,999), and 6GB+128GB (₹11,999). The first sale is scheduled for January 10th at 12 PM.

This new model is considered an upgrade to the Redmi 13C, which notably ranked 9th in Counterpoint Research’s list of top 10 selling smartphones in Q3 2024, making it the only non-Apple or Samsung device in the top 10.

The Redmi 14C 5G features a 6.88-inch HD+ display with TUV Rheinland certification and 600 nits peak brightness. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. It runs on Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. An 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone’s 5,160mAh battery supports 18W fast charging, though a 33W fast charger is included in the box. IP52 dust and water resistance, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack round out the features.
