Tue Jan 07 14:30:00 IST 2025: ## NVIDIA Unveils GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs: AI-Powered Graphics Revolution at CES

**Las Vegas, NV – January X, 2025** – NVIDIA today announced the GeForce RTX 50 Series, its most advanced consumer GPUs to date, boasting groundbreaking AI-driven rendering capabilities. Powered by the new Blackwell architecture, these GPUs promise a significant leap in performance for gamers, creators, and developers.

The flagship GeForce RTX 5090, featuring 92 billion transistors, delivers over 3,352 trillion AI operations per second (TOPS), offering up to 2x the performance of its predecessor, the RTX 4090. This performance boost is attributed to Blackwell’s innovations and the introduction of DLSS 4, which utilizes Multi-Frame Generation to increase frame rates by up to 8x through AI-generated frames. DLSS 4 also incorporates a transformer model architecture for enhanced image quality.

Blackwell’s impact extends beyond raw power. RTX Neural Shaders bring AI into programmable shaders, enabling real-time rendering of film-quality materials and lighting. New technologies like RTX Neural Faces and RTX Mega Geometry drastically improve the realism of digital humans and environments.

The RTX 50 Series also integrates NVIDIA ACE technologies, powering autonomous game characters capable of realistic interactions within games like PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and upcoming titles. NVIDIA is also introducing NIM microservices, enabling developers to easily build AI agents and assistants for RTX AI PCs.

For creators, the RTX 50 Series supports FP4 precision, doubling AI image generation performance for models like FLUX. The NVIDIA Broadcast app gains AI-powered features like Studio Voice and Virtual Key Light for improved livestreaming.

Desktop versions of the RTX 5090 ($1999), RTX 5080 ($999), RTX 5070 Ti ($749), and RTX 5070 ($549) will be available starting January 30th (RTX 5090 and RTX 5080) and February (RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070). Laptop versions will launch starting in March.

“Blackwell, the engine of AI, has arrived for PC gamers, developers and creatives,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “Fusing AI-driven neural rendering and ray tracing, Blackwell is the most significant computer graphics innovation since we introduced programmable shading 25 years ago.”
