**Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu – January 7, 2025** – A marathon will be held in Virudhunagar on January 12th to celebrate the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister C.N. Annadurai and promote physical fitness. The event, announced by Collector V.P. Jeyaseelan, will feature different distances based on age and gender. Men aged 17-25 will run 8km, while those over 25 will run 10km. Women aged 17-25 will run 5km, with a separate 5km race for women over 25. School students must obtain age verification from their school head and register with the District Sports Officer by 6:30 am on January 12th at the Virudhunagar Government Medical College.
