**New Delhi, January 7, 2024** – The Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Roorkee released the admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 examination today. Registered candidates can download their admit cards from the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in, using their registration number and date of birth.
The examination, originally scheduled to begin on February 1st, will now be held from February 1st to 16th, 2025, at various centers across the country. The admit card release was postponed from January 2nd to today’s date. Candidates are reminded that entry to the examination hall will be denied without a valid admit card.
The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted in two shifts: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. There will be 30 test papers, and candidates may choose to take one or two papers. Candidates must arrive at the examination center at least one hour before the start of their respective shift. Entry will be denied 30 minutes after the start of the examination.
Successful candidates will be eligible for M.Tech programs at IITs. The cutoff scores will be released by IIT after the results are declared. For further details, candidates are advised to visit the official GATE 2025 website.
