**Hyderabad, January 6, 2025** – Telangana experienced a milder morning on Monday, with minimum temperatures rising slightly compared to the previous day. While some areas remained chilly, the coldest temperature recorded was 8.1°C in Kohir, Sangareddy district, a significant increase from Sunday’s low of 5.9°C in Bheempoor, Adilabad district.
According to data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), nine out of the state’s 33 districts saw temperatures below 10°C. The highest minimum temperature was 14.9°C in Nuthankal, Suryapet district.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that morning mist and haze will continue in some areas for the next five days. While minimum temperatures are expected to remain near normal for the next three days, a slight dip of 2°C to 3°C is forecast for the following two days. Hyderabad’s lowest temperature was 13.3°C in Marredpally.
