**Patna, Bihar –** Jan Suraaj Party leader Prashant Kishor was arrested Monday morning while conducting an indefinite hunger strike at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan. Police forcibly removed Kishor, who was protesting alleged irregularities in a Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) exam, and transported him to AIIMS Patna. Sources report he has refused treatment and intends to continue his fast unto death.
Kishor and several supporters were arrested for illegally protesting in a restricted area of Gandhi Maidan.
