Sun Jan 05 15:20:00 UTC 2025: **Hyderabad: Two Express Trains to Shift Starting Point to New Charlapalli Terminal**
HYDERABAD, INDIA – South Central Railway (SCR) announced that the starting points of two express trains will be shifted to the newly inaugurated Charlapalli terminal starting in March. The Chennai Central-Hyderabad-Chennai Central Express (12603/12604) will begin its journey from Charlapalli from March 7th, relocating from Nampally. Similarly, the Gorakhpur-Secunderabad-Gorakhpur Express (12589/12590) will commence its operations from Charlapalli instead of Secunderabad from March 12th.
Furthermore, three trains originating from Secunderabad will now have stops at the Charlapalli terminal, beginning January 7th. This includes the Secunderabad-Sirpur Kagaznagar Express (12757), which will have a one-minute stop at Charlapalli.
**52 Special Trains Added for Sankranti Festival**
In anticipation of increased passenger traffic during the Sankranti festival (January 14th), SCR will operate an additional 52 special trains between January 6th and 18th. Notably, some of these special trains will originate from the new Charlapalli terminal. These trains will connect various cities, including Tirupati, Kakinada, Vikarabad, Narsapur, and others.
