**Puducherry, January 6, 2025** – The final electoral roll for Puducherry has been published, listing a total of 1,014,070 electors, according to a press release issued by the Chief Electoral Officer, P. Jawahar. The roll, based on a special summary revision conducted from October 29 to November 28, 2024, reflects the addition of 22,154 voters and the deletion of 23,463.
The electorate comprises 539,125 women, 474,788 men, and 157 individuals identifying as the third gender. A significant portion, 24,156 voters, falls within the 18-19 age group.
The complete list is available for public inspection at all polling stations and the offices of Electoral Registration Officers/Assistant Electoral Registration Officers for seven days a week (excluding holidays), starting Monday. First-time voters aged 18-19 and those who have requested corrections will receive their Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPICs) via speed post.
