**KADAPA, January 5, 2025** – Yogi Vemana University (YVU) in Kadapa has achieved significant recognition by receiving multiple International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications. The university was awarded ISO 21001:2018 for Quality Education, ISO 14001:2015 for Energy Environment Management System, and ISO 50001:2018 for Energy Management. Additionally, YVU received a gender sensitisation certification and a ‘Green Award’.

Representatives from HYM International Certification Private Limited presented the certifications to the in-charge Vice-Chancellor, K. Krishna Reddy, during a ceremony on Saturday. The certification followed a three-day audit of various university departments and facilities in mid-December.

Prof. Reddy highlighted the university’s recent financial successes, including a ₹20 crore grant under the PM-USHA scheme, ₹3.49 crore from RUSA 2.0, and ₹6 crore for research projects. He expressed confidence that these developments, coupled with the ISO certifications, will solidify YVU’s position as a leading educational institution. The university aims to achieve a top grade in the upcoming NAAC assessment and improve its NIRF ranking. The event was attended by key university officials, including the in-charge Registrar and several principals.
