**Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh – January 5, 2025** – Nandyal police have arrested three individuals for the illegal transportation and sale of ganja (cannabis) in the town. Authorities seized 5 kilograms of the drug during the operation.

The accused, identified as Jinkala Maddileti, Bontha Srinivasulu, and Shaik Yusuf, were apprehended Saturday night following a police investigation. Police allege that Maddileti procured the ganja from a contact in Samalkot with the assistance of his father. Srinivasulu then packaged the ganja for sale, supplying it to Yusuf, who operated a tea stall and sold it to customers.

Authorities are urging citizens to report any information regarding ganja trafficking to the Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement (Eagle) at 1972. The investigation continues.
