One dead after crash near Buc-ee’s

**RICHMOND, KY** – A serious two-vehicle collision on I-75 near Exit 83 in Richmond, Kentucky, has resulted in one fatality and left three others with serious injuries. The accident occurred near the Buc-ee’s on Duncannon Ln. and prompted the closure of the northbound off-ramp at Exit 83.

Richmond Police Department reported that the crash involved two vehicles. Three individuals sustained critical injuries and were transported to UK Hospital for treatment. Sadly, one person succumbed to their injuries. The southbound on-ramp has reopened, while the northbound off-ramp remains closed, with authorities estimating closures to last another two to four hours. Traffic on the southbound ramp is being diverted back onto I-75. The Richmond Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Units are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
