**Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, January 5, 2025** – Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister M. Mathiventhan on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development projects in Namakkal district, totaling ₹8.1 crore. The initiatives, undertaken under schemes like Kalaignar Urban Development Scheme and Namakku Naame, aim to improve infrastructure and public services.

Key projects inaugurated include a park in Pandamangalam town panchayat and four additional classrooms at Vediyarasampalayam Government Higher Secondary School. The Minister also laid the foundation for a primary health centre in Kabilarmalai and extensive water infrastructure improvements in Pandamangalam, benefiting 4,150 residents with a daily water supply of 135 liters per person. The new water infrastructure includes overhead and ground-level tanks, and the laying of new pipelines. A new ration shop was also inaugurated in Pallipalayam panchayat union.

Local officials, DMK representatives, and government department officials attended the events.
