**New York, NY** – Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia has continued her string of accolades, winning the Best Director award from the National Society of Film Critics (NSFC) for her film, *All We Imagine As Light*. The NSFC, comprised of over 60 film critics, also awarded *Nickel Boys* Best Picture and recognized several other films and actors.

Kapadia’s film, which previously won the Grand Prix at Cannes, also received recognition for Best International Film from the New York Film Critics Circle and the Gotham Awards. *All We Imagine As Light* secured high scores in the NSFC voting, achieving 49 points, placing it second only to *Hard Truths* which achieved 79 points. The film’s success extends beyond the NSFC, as it is also longlisted for three BAFTA awards and nominated for two Golden Globe Awards.
