Sat Jan 04 09:03:36 UTC 2025: ## Jio Fiber Manager Rescued in Uttar Pradesh Police Encounter
**Lucknow, January 4, 2025** – Abhinav Bhardwaj, a kidnapped manager of Jio Fiber, was rescued Saturday in a police encounter in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. A joint team from the Noida unit of the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and Hathras police engaged the kidnappers, resulting in one suspect, Vishal, being injured in an exchange of fire. Two other suspects, Sujal Kumar and Karan Bisht, were arrested.
Bhardwaj was abducted in Hathras on January 1st, prompting a police investigation and subsequent rescue operation. Recovered from the suspects were the vehicle used in the crime, ₹50,000 in cash, and other items. The injured suspect is receiving medical treatment. The Additional Director General of Police (STF and Law & Order), Amitabh Yash, confirmed the details of the operation.
