**New Delhi, January 4, 2025** – A 14-year-old student was fatally stabbed outside a school in east Delhi’s Shakarpur area on Friday, police reported Saturday. The incident stemmed from an altercation between the victim and other students, which escalated into violence outside the school gates. One assailant stabbed the victim in the right thigh, inflicting a fatal wound.
Police have detained seven suspects in connection with the incident and are investigating their roles and motives. Teams from the Shakarpur police station, along with the Anti-Narcotics Squad and Special Staff, were deployed to apprehend the culprits. A case has been registered, and the victim’s body has been preserved for post-mortem examination. The investigation is ongoing.
