Fri Jan 03 11:51:29 UTC 2025: **VHP to Hold Massive Hindu Rally in Andhra Pradesh**

VIJAYAWADA, Andhra Pradesh – The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is set to organize a large-scale rally, “Haindava Sankharavam,” on January 5th in Kesarapalle, near Gannavaram. The event aims to advocate for the protection of Hindu temples, their properties, and the autonomy of Hindu religious institutions.

According to VHP leaders, including former MP Gokaraju Gangaraju, the rally is expected to draw around 300,000 participants and will feature prominent figures from across India, including trustees of the Ayodhya Ram Temple. The organizers emphasized the event’s focus on religious and cultural preservation, asserting its political neutrality. Extensive transport arrangements are in place, including trains, buses, and private vehicles.

The rally’s demands include safeguarding Sanathana Dharma, preventing encroachment on temple lands, and transferring non-Hindu employees from Hindu religious institutions to other departments. The VHP contends that Hindu temples have been exploited by successive governments for 77 years and advocates for devotee-led management of temples. The “Haindava Sankharavam” is being framed as a national movement aimed at securing the future autonomy of Hindu temples.
