**UTICA, N.Y. –** Several municipalities in Central New York have declared snow emergencies in response to heavy lake-effect snow and high winds, which are expected to continue tonight and tomorrow, creating whiteout conditions in some areas.

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente issued a travel advisory for the entire county. Specific snow emergencies are in effect in:

* **Ilion:** Beginning 9 p.m. Thursday, all vehicles must be removed from streets. Vehicles remaining will be ticketed and/or towed.
* **Dolgeville:** The emergency lasts until 6 p.m. on January 3rd. Parking is prohibited on village streets, and unnecessary travel is discouraged.
* **Whitesboro:** All vehicles must be removed from roadways.
* **Yorkville:** A snow emergency is in effect.
* **Utica:** A snow emergency is in effect.
* **New York Mills:** A snow emergency is in effect.
