He stated that the commission is burdened with non-core responsibilities, leading to significant delays in releasing results and conducting appointments following competitive examinations.
Venkatesham highlighted that the certificate verification process alone takes three to four months, further delaying the release of general merit lists. Venkatesham confirmed that the commission is studying the UPSC and other state PSCs’ recruitment methods to improve efficiency and transparency. A detailed proposal outlining these reforms will be submitted to the government shortly. The goal is to ensure a swift, accurate, and transparent recruitment process for all government jobs in Telangana.
