**Hyderabad, January 3, 2025** – Actor Allu Arjun, known for his work in Telugu cinema, has been granted conditional bail by a Hyderabad court in connection with a theatre stampede that resulted in one death and injuries. The incident occurred during a benefit show of his film *Pushpa 2* at the Sandhya 70 MM theatre on December 4th.
Arjun was arrested on December 13th and charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder. He spent a night in Chanchalguda jail before being granted interim bail by the High Court. The Nampally court’s conditional bail requires him to post two sureties of ₹50,000 each and report to the Chikkadpally Station House Officer every Sunday for two months, or until the chargesheet is filed. Further proceedings regarding his judicial remand have been adjourned to January 10th.
