**JAMNAGAR, INDIA** – The Reliance Jamnagar refinery celebrated its 25th anniversary with a gathering of employees and their families. Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, delivered a heartfelt address highlighting the significance of the refinery for her family.
She described Jamnagar as the “karmabhumi” (land of action) for her father-in-law, Dhirubhai Ambani, the founder of Reliance Industries, whose 92nd birthday was recently observed. Nita Ambani noted that the refinery represented Dhirubhai’s vision, dreams, and destiny. She also referred to Jamnagar as her mother-in-law, Kokilaben Ambani’s, “janmabhumi” (birthplace), and as her son Mukesh Ambani’s “shraddha bhumi” (land of devotion), where he fulfilled his father’s dream of creating the world’s largest grassroots refinery. Finally, she called it her son Anant Ambani’s “seva bhumi” (land of service), reflecting the family’s continued commitment to the refinery. The event underscored the deep personal and familial connection to the refinery’s success.
