**New Delhi, India –** Hyundai has released official teasers revealing its upcoming all-electric Creta, poised to compete directly with the Tata Nexon EV and Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara. The electric SUV largely retains the design of its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart, featuring a redesigned grille and aerodynamic wheels.
The Creta Electric will be available in a range of eight monotone and five metallic colours, including a signature Ocean Blue Metallic and several matte options. Four variants will be offered: Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence.
Inside, the vehicle boasts a new two-spoke steering wheel, a drive mode selector, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and a 360-degree camera. Further features include Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, a digital key with NFC functionality, shift-by-wire (SBW) technology, and i-Pedal.
Hyundai’s first “Made-in-India” electric car, the Creta Electric will be powered by a front-mounted electric motor and offer two battery options: a 51.4 kWh pack providing a range of 473 km and a 42 kWh pack with a 390 km range. Fast AC charging (11 kW) will take 4 hours for a full charge, while DC fast charging is expected to reach 80% in 58 minutes.
Pricing is expected to range from ₹20-30 Lakh, though exact figures haven’t been confirmed. The launch date remains unannounced.
