**New Delhi, [Date]** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate several significant projects in Delhi today, marking a major expansion of educational and housing infrastructure in the capital. The centerpiece of the event will be the laying of the foundation stone for Veer Savarkar College at Roshanpura, Najafgarh, a new addition to Delhi University’s campus. This marks the first expansion of the university in nearly three decades, following the establishment of Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences in 1995.
The expansion includes the planned Eastern and Western campuses in Surajmal Vihar and Dwarka respectively, representing a total investment of ₹600 crore. Alongside the college inauguration, the Prime Minister will also launch the CBSE’s new ₹300 crore Integrated Office Complex in Dwarka. This eco-friendly building, designed to IGBC Platinum Rating standards, will house offices, an auditorium, an advanced data center, and a comprehensive water management system.
In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi highlighted Delhi’s status as a leading education hub and emphasized the transformative potential of the ₹600 crore investment in academic infrastructure. The inauguration ceremony will be live-streamed.
Beyond education, the event will also see the handover of keys to 1,675 newly constructed flats at Swabhiman Apartments in Ashok Vihar, providing housing for residents of JJ clusters.
