**Vijayawada, January 3, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh’s Industries and Commerce Minister, T.G. Bharat, launched a new helpline number (04045901100) aimed at boosting the state’s food processing sector. The helpline will serve as a one-stop information center for entrepreneurs, providing guidance on the Food Processing Policy-4.0 and addressing any related queries.

The initiative, announced Friday evening, seeks to increase transparency in government policies and streamline the establishment of food processing units. The helpline will offer support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning to loan applications under schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme. It will also assist micro-entrepreneurs in identifying suitable business opportunities within their localities. Minister Bharat emphasized the helpline’s role in ensuring the smooth operation of businesses within the food processing industry.
