**Bapulapadu, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh – January 3, 2025** – Tension gripped Mallavalli village today as farmers clashed with police over a land dispute with the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC). Farmers, demanding 100 acres of land for village development including road infrastructure, attempted to occupy APIIC land.
In response, authorities deployed additional police forces and placed approximately 20 farmers under house arrest in Bapulapadu and Nuzvid. Krishna District Superintendent of Police R.
