NEW DELHI – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened registration for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025, the entrance exam for postgraduate programs in participating central universities. Aspiring students can apply through the new official website: exam.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG.

This year’s CUET PG exam sees several key changes. The application fee has increased across all categories. The general category fee is now ₹1,400, while OBC-NCL and General-EWS candidates will pay ₹1,200. SC/ST/third gender candidates will pay ₹1,100, and PwBD candidates ₹1,000. An additional fee of ₹600 per paper applies for those opting for extra tests.

The number of exam centers in India has been reduced from 300 to 285, while the international centers remain at 312. Candidates can now choose four preferred cities based on their permanent or current address, an increase from the previous two choices. The exam duration has been shortened from 105 minutes to 90 minutes, covering 75 multiple-choice questions. A total of 157 subjects are available for candidates to choose from.
