**Mangaluru, January 2, 2025** – Mangaluru city police have arrested a 31-year-old man, Sunil, for assaulting a female employee at a medical shop in Naguri and robbing ₹19,300. The incident occurred on December 28th, according to Kankanady town police. Sunil assaulted the employee and stole the cash from the shop’s drawer.
A police team, led by Inspector T.D. Nagaraj, tracked down and apprehended Sunil. The police recovered ₹17,500 of the stolen money and a scooter from the accused. The investigation is ongoing.
