**Chennai, January 2, 2025** – A 25-year-old migrant worker from Bihar died in a road accident in Chennai’s Kilpauk area on Tuesday night. Deepak, who was riding a two-wheeler with his friend Babu as a pillion passenger, lost control while attempting to overtake a car near the Gengu Reddy subway. Police reports indicate that Deepak was speeding and riding under the influence of alcohol. He suffered fatal head injuries after falling onto a concrete barricade. Babu, also reportedly intoxicated, sustained minor injuries and is receiving treatment at the Government Kilpauk Medical College Hospital. The Chintadripet Traffic Investigation Police are investigating the incident.
