Thu Jan 02 09:41:13 UTC 2025: ## Six Arrested for Murder of History-Sheeter in Chennai
**Chennai, January 2, 2025** – Ambattur police have arrested six individuals in connection with the murder of 24-year-old history-sheeter, ‘Lota’ Naveen. Naveen, who had prior criminal records at Villivakkam police station, succumbed to injuries sustained during a brutal knife attack on December 30th.
The attack occurred around 5:30 pm in Kallikuppam, Ambattur, as Naveen was riding his two-wheeler. A group of men on bikes intercepted and attacked him. He was rushed to Government Stanley Hospital but died on December 31st.
Police investigations revealed the murder stemmed from a long-standing feud related to Naveen’s alleged involvement in the 2021 murder of Karunakaran in ICF and the murder of Udayakumar in Villivakkam last year.
The arrested suspects, identified as N. Ashok Kumar (24), R. Rajesh Kumar (21), T. Albert (23), A. Vijay Solomon (21), P. Iman (20), and M. Vinodh Kumar (21), have been remanded to judicial custody. The investigation is ongoing.
