**New Delhi, January 1, 2025** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a significant increase in financial assistance for farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme as a New Year’s gift. The annual financial benefit will be raised from ₹6,000 to ₹10,000, a boost of ₹4,000. This will be disbursed in three installments of ₹3,333.33 each.
