Thu Jan 02 14:21:58 UTC 2025: ## Hundreds of Law Students to Compete in National Moot Court Competition

**Hubballi, Karnataka –** Nearly 100 law students from across five states will participate in the 10th National Moot Court Competition this weekend. The competition, hosted by the Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) in Hubballi on January 4th and 5th, will focus on the intersection of the Constitution and social media.

The moot problem, drafted by senior corporate counsel Sandeep Hegde of Oracle India Pvt. Ltd., will be judged by a panel of 20 legal experts, judges, and senior advocates. The competition will consist of three rounds: preliminary, semi-final, and final. Awards will be presented for overall winners, best memorial, best male mooter, and best female mooter.

The inauguration ceremony, scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, will feature former High Court of Karnataka judge B.A. Patil as the chief guest and KSLU Vice-Chancellor C. Basavaraju presiding. The valedictory ceremony, to be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, will be presided over by former High Court of Karnataka judge A.S. Pachhapure.
