**NEW DELHI –** Hyundai has unveiled a comprehensive teaser of its highly anticipated Creta EV, generating significant buzz ahead of the Bharat Mobility Show, starting January 17th. The all-electric SUV boasts a familiar design, incorporating key features like twin LED DRLs, an LED light bar, and new 18-inch aero-type dual-tone alloy wheels. However, EV-specific updates include a closed grille, a dual-pane sunroof, a front charging port, and unique badging. Four variants will be available: Executive, Smart, Pure, and Excellence, each featuring new color schemes.
Inside, the Creta EV offers a beige and blue color theme, a three-spoke steering wheel, dual 10.25-inch screens (infotainment and instrument cluster), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an ADAS suite, a redesigned center console, a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and a rear power socket for V2L (vehicle-to-load) functionality.
Powertrain options include a 42 kWh battery pack (approx. 390 km range) and a more powerful 51.4 kWh battery pack (473 km range). The larger battery pack enables a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 7.9 seconds.
The Creta EV is expected to launch at the Bharat Mobility Expo and will compete with models like the Maruti E-Vitara, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, and BYD Atto 3.
