**Kothagudem, January 2, 2025** – A private employee sustained a severe throat injury after his motorcycle collided with *manja*, a banned sharp kite string coated with powdered glass, in Ramavaram, Kothagudem district, on Wednesday. The victim, a resident of Gurvaigudem, was reportedly on his way to work when the accident occurred. Passersby immediately transported him to a local hospital where he is now reported to be in stable condition. A video of the injured man has since circulated on social media. Police are yet to comment on the incident.
