Thu Jan 02 07:33:01 UTC 2025: ## Ten Injured in Queens Nightclub Shooting; Multiple US Incidents Under Investigation

**New York, NY** – At least ten people were injured in a mass shooting outside the Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York, late Wednesday night. The NYPD reported that none of the injuries are considered life-threatening. Victims were transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen’s Children Medical Center for treatment.

The shooting occurred around 11:20 pm, as approximately 80 people waited outside the club, which had reportedly hosted a private party for a deceased gang member. While the NYPD has yet to release official details, social media posts show a significant police and emergency services response at the scene.

This incident follows a series of violent events across the US. In New Orleans, a man identified as Shamsud Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old US Army veteran, drove his truck into a crowd on New Year’s Day, killing at least 15 and injuring dozens more. Authorities have confirmed Jabbar was carrying an ISIS flag and are investigating the attack as an act of terrorism. At least four victims have been identified by family members.

Separately, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside a Las Vegas hotel owned by President-Elect Donald Trump, killing one person. Reports suggest the truck contained fireworks, gas tanks, and camp fuel.

President Biden stated that law enforcement and intelligence agencies are investigating potential links between the New Orleans attack and the Tesla explosion, noting both vehicles were reportedly rented from the same source, Turo. The investigations into all three incidents are ongoing.
