Kamra criticized quick commerce companies for allegedly exploiting gig workers, accusing them of deceptive practices and profiting from their labor.
The controversy began after Dhindsa shared a post detailing Blinkit’s impressive New Year’s Eve order volume. Kamra responded by retweeting the post, demanding Dhindsa also disclose the average payment made to delivery agents in 2024.
In a subsequent post, Kamra accused quick commerce platforms of acting as “landlords without land,” leveraging data to exploit gig workers and failing to provide genuine employment. He predicted regulatory backlash against these practices. Dhindsa has yet to respond publicly. This follows a previous online controversy involving Kamra and Ola Electric’s CEO.
