**CHENNAI, INDIA** – Popular South Indian actress Keerthy Suresh has revealed intimate details about her love story and recent wedding to her longtime partner, Anthony Tattiyil. In a recent interview, Suresh shared that their relationship spanned 15 years, beginning during their time in college. Tattiyil, who works in Qatar, proposed to Suresh in 2010.
The couple kept their relationship largely private, with only a select few – including fellow actors Sam, Vijay, Atlee, Priyadarshan, and Aishwarya Lakshmi – aware of their romance. They even embarked on a secret trip abroad in 2017.
Suresh described a clandestine meeting at a family restaurant, where she and Tattiyil, who is seven years her senior, eloped to a secluded location. She also revealed that Tattiyil had previously given her a promise ring.
Their wedding, a lavish affair held in Goa on December 12th, incorporated both Hindu and Christian traditions. While they had planned to marry in 2022, the ceremony finally took place recently. Suresh mentioned that she will be receiving her traditional mangalsutra (gold necklace) later in January. She described the sacred thread ceremony as powerful and sacred.
