HYDERABAD, INDIA – Ram Charan’s highly anticipated film, “Game Changer,” directed by Shankar, has received a U/A certificate from the censor board. The political thriller, produced by Dil Raju on a large budget, is set to release on January 10th as a Sankranti treat.
The film, featuring Kiara Advani as the female lead, clocks in at 165.30 minutes (2 hours and 45 minutes). The film’s team announced the censor completion and revealed that the trailer, eagerly awaited by fans, will be released on January 2nd by renowned director S.S. Rajamouli. The editor hinted the trailer will answer many questions and showcase the film’s blend of love, emotion, and action. Three songs from the film have already gained popularity.
Ram Charan plays a dual role as a young IAS officer, Ramnandan, and his father, Appanna. The film also stars Anjali, Samuthirakani, Sunil, Srikanth, and Nazar. Music is composed by Thaman.
Director Sukumar, who reportedly viewed the film with Chiranjeevi, offered early praise, stating that the first half was “amazing,” the interval block a “blockbuster,” and the flashback episode in the second half was particularly gripping. He compared his enjoyment of the film to watching Shankar’s classics “Gentleman” and “Bharatiyudu.” He even predicted a National Award for Ram Charan’s performance in the climax.
