**New Delhi, January 1, 2025** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam, held on December 14th and 15th, can now download the answer key and their OMR sheets from the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in.

The answer key for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 is available for download using the application number and date of birth. Candidates can access their scanned OMR response sheets to verify their marked answers.

CBSE has also opened a window for objections to the answer key. Candidates who disagree with any answer can challenge it from January 1st, 2025, to January 5th, 2025 (11:59 PM). A non-refundable fee of ₹1000 per question challenged must be submitted via credit/debit card. The fee will be refunded if the objection is accepted and the answer is found to be incorrect. CBSE’s decision on the objections will be final.

The CTET exam consisted of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with no negative marking. Candidates can calculate their scores based on the number of correctly answered questions. Further announcements regarding the final answer key and results will be made on the official website.
