**Mumbai, India** – The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will be open for trading on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, the first day of the new year. This was confirmed by the NSE’s release of the 2025 holiday calendar, which lists a total of 14 trading holidays for the year. Trading hours will remain standard, from 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM. The announcement comes as the NSE concludes a successful 2024, recently achieving the ranking of the fifth-largest stock exchange globally by market capitalization, exceeding $5 trillion.
