**Melbourne, Australia:** Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma has urged wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant to reassess his approach after India’s heavy loss to Australia in the fourth Test. While acknowledging Pant’s past successes with his aggressive batting style, Sharma expressed concern over a rash shot in the second innings that triggered a collapse.
Pant’s 30 runs off 104 balls, despite a promising partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal, ultimately proved insufficient. Sharma emphasized the need for Pant to better manage risk, stating, “He needs to understand what is required from himself…it’s about him understanding and figuring out what’s the right way to go about it.”
