**Hyderabad, India** – Telangana Chief Minister K. Revanth Reddy met with Microsoft President Satya Nadella in Hyderabad on Monday, seeking the tech giant’s collaboration to establish the city as a leading global technology center. Accompanied by several cabinet ministers, Reddy thanked Nadella for Microsoft’s significant investments and growth in the state, highlighting its 10,000-strong workforce and 600 MW data center capacity.
The meeting focused on key technology initiatives for Telangana, including artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI, and cloud computing. The Chief Minister emphasized the state’s commitment to building a robust tech ecosystem and requested Microsoft’s support in achieving this goal. Reddy also outlined his government’s plans for infrastructure development, including the Regional Ring Road and the development of new manufacturing clusters, and its focus on creating a large pool of skilled workers through initiatives like the Young India Skills University.
Nadella, in response, reaffirmed Microsoft’s commitment to partnering with the Telangana government and praised the Chief Minister’s vision for infrastructure and skills development, stating that these factors are crucial for positioning Hyderabad among the world’s top 50 cities for economic growth.
