**New Delhi, [Date]** – Delhi Police are implementing a comprehensive traffic plan to manage the expected influx of people celebrating New Year’s Eve in the national capital. Over 2,500 police personnel, supported by 11 Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) companies and 80 patrol teams, will be deployed to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety around hotspots like Connaught Place, India Gate, and Hauz Khas. Special emphasis will be placed on preventing drunk driving, with 250 teams dedicated to enforcing related laws.
Significant traffic restrictions will be in place in and around Connaught Place from 8 pm on December 31st until well after midnight.
