**Hyderabad, December 30, 2024** – Telangana Chief Minister K. Revanth Reddy led a delegation to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s Hyderabad residence on Monday, seeking collaboration to solidify Hyderabad’s position as a global technology leader. The meeting, which included state IT Minister D Sridhar Babu and other officials, focused on leveraging AI, generative AI, and cloud technologies.

The state government emphasized its commitment to developing a robust tech ecosystem, highlighting initiatives such as infrastructure improvements (including a Regional Ring Road and new manufacturing clusters) and skill development programs like the Young India Skills University. Chief Minister Reddy detailed these plans to Nadella, who, according to a government statement, expressed Microsoft’s commitment to partnering with Telangana. Nadella reportedly praised the Chief Minister’s vision, stating that investments in skills and infrastructure are key to placing Hyderabad among the world’s top 50 cities for economic growth.

Microsoft, with over 10,000 employees and a 600 MW data center investment in Telangana, is a significant player in the state’s technology sector. The Chief Minister thanked Nadella for Microsoft’s continued investment and growth in Hyderabad.
