**MACHILIPATNAM, Andhra Pradesh –** Andhra Pradesh Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra visited a minor girl who was the victim of a gang rape in Inaguduru, Machilipatnam, on Sunday, December 29th. The Minister offered the family government support and promised swift action against the four accused.

According to police, the Class VIII student was allegedly gang-raped on Friday, December 27th, after leaving her home. All four suspects were arrested on Sunday and charged with gang rape, kidnapping, and violations of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The victim’s condition is reported to be stable. The incident highlights a continued concern over sexual assault in the region.
