Fri Dec 27 18:50:00 UTC 2024: ## BMW G 310 GS Sees Steep Year-End Discounts in India
**Mumbai, India –** BMW Motorrad is offering significant discounts on its popular G 310 GS adventure tourer motorcycle in India, as the year draws to a close. Dealerships across the country are providing discounts of up to ₹50,000 (approximately $600 USD) off the on-road price (OTR), which includes taxes and insurance. This move aims to clear unsold inventory before a price hike takes effect on January 1st, 2025.
The G 310 GS, one of three motorcycles built on a collaborative 310cc platform developed with TVS Motor, has been a key player in BMW’s strategy to access more affordable price segments. While competing with more powerful rivals like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure, the G 310 GS boasts a 313cc engine producing 33.52 bhp and 28 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. Additional features include 41mm USD telescopic forks, a mono-shock rear suspension, disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, and an 11.5-liter fuel tank.
The discounted OTR price varies by location and dealer, with estimates placing the price in the ₹3.5 lakh to ₹3.7 lakh range (approximately $4,200 to $4,400 USD) in states like Karnataka after applying the discounts. Potential buyers are advised to contact their local BMW Motorrad dealership for the most accurate pricing and availability information. The discount applies to the OTR price and not the ex-showroom price.
