**Mumbai, December 27, 2024** – The State Bank of India (SBI) today announced the recruitment of 600 Probationary Officers (POs), opening applications starting immediately. Aspiring candidates can apply online at bank.sbi/web/careers/current-openings until January 16, 2025.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 600 positions, with reserved quotas for various categories: 87 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 57 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 158 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 58 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and 240 for the Unreserved category.

Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of April 4, 2024 (born between April 2, 1994, and April 1, 2003). A graduation degree from a recognized university is required, with final-year students allowed to apply provisionally. Candidates with professional qualifications like Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, or Cost Accountancy are also eligible.

Selection will be a three-phase process: a Preliminary Examination, a Main Examination, and a final round comprising a psychometric test, group exercise, and personal interview.
