Fri Dec 27 16:15:16 UTC 2024: ## Bhadrachalam to Showcase Tribal Culture During Upcoming Festivals

**BHADRADRI KOTAGUDEM, December 27, 2024** – The district administration of Bhadradri Kothagudem is preparing an ambitious plan to highlight the rich tribal culture and traditions during the upcoming Teppotsavam and Mukkoti (Vaikunta) Ekadasi festivals at the Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam on January 9th and 10th.

The initiative aims to immerse visitors in the Adivasi lifestyle through the creation of traditional huts showcasing their customs. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore a mini-museum at the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) headquarters, visit the scenic Kinnerasani reservoir, and experience the tribal village of Bojjiguppa.

A key element of the plan involves establishing food stalls offering traditional tribal cuisine, featuring millets and leafy vegetables. This initiative seeks to introduce visitors to the unique flavors of the region while simultaneously supporting the livelihoods of local tribal communities.

Collector Jitesh V. Patel inspected the arrangements on Friday, overseeing preparations for the Teppotsavam, tourism promotion, and cultural programs planned for the Mukkoti Ekadasi festivities. The event promises a unique blend of religious observance and cultural immersion.
