**GURGAON, INDIA –** Popular freelance radio jockey and social media influencer Simran Singh, 25, was found dead in her Gurgaon apartment on Wednesday, sparking an investigation. Singh, known as “Jammu ki Dhadkan” (the heartbeat of Jammu), hailed from Jammu and Kashmir and had a significant following on Instagram (around 700,000 followers).

Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, which they suspect may be a suicide, although no suicide note was found. Her apartment door was locked from the inside. Singh was pronounced dead at Park Hospital after being found unresponsive. Following a post-mortem at the district hospital, her body was released to her family.
