**New Delhi, December 27, 2024** – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the results of the November 2024 Chartered Accountant (CA) Final examinations late last night. A total of 11,500 candidates successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants, achieving a mixed pass rate across groups.
The results, released at 11 pm IST on the ICAI website (icai.nic.in), revealed a 16.8% pass rate for Group I (11,253 out of 66,987 candidates) and a 21.36% pass rate for Group II (10,566 out of 49,459 candidates). For candidates attempting both groups, the pass rate was lower at 13.44% (4,134 out of 30,763).
Top performers included Heramb Maheshwari and Rishab Ostwal R from Hyderabad and Tirupati respectively, who both achieved first rank with scores of 84.86%. Riya Kunjankumar Shah and Kinjal Ajmera secured second and third ranks respectively.
Candidates can access their results online using their registration and roll numbers. The ICAI also noted that results for the Post Qualification Courses, including International Taxation Assessment Test and Insurance & Risk Management Technical Examination, were also released.
The passing criteria requires a minimum of 40% in each individual paper and 50% overall in each group. Candidates can request verification of their papers or certified copies of their answer books within 30 days of the result declaration. The ICAI will also release the top 50 merit list shortly. The pass certificates will be issued within 60 days of the result announcement.
