Thu Dec 26 04:10:00 UTC 2024: ## Netflix Scores Exclusive Broadcast Rights for NFL Christmas Games

**Los Angeles, CA** – For the first time ever, Netflix will be the exclusive broadcaster for both NFL games scheduled for Christmas Day. The streaming giant secured a multi-year deal with the NFL, giving it the rights to air at least one holiday game annually for the next three seasons.

This year, fans across the country will need a Netflix subscription (any tier) to watch the Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, and Pittsburgh Steelers clash on Christmas. The only exceptions are viewers in the local broadcast markets of these teams, who can access their local team’s game via their local CBS affiliate. NFL+ subscribers will also be able to stream the games via the NFL app on mobile devices.

This marks a significant shift in NFL broadcast tradition, with Netflix taking the reins from traditional television networks. While Netflix has faced past broadcasting challenges, the streaming giant is poised to deliver the double-header to its massive subscriber base.
